Angling
in Kilmore Quay:
Boat
fishing at Kilmore Quay is regarded as being amongst the best
in Ireland. A wide range of species is available as can be seen
from returns in recent years where no less than 29 different
species of fish have been recorded. Recent improvement s at
Kilmore Quay have made the harbour the most 'angler friendly'
venue on the Eastern Seaboard and access to the fish-rich waters
around the Saltee Islands has been ensured by the arrival of
a fine fleet of purpose-built, licensed angling charter vessels
which operate on an almost year-round basis. Shore fishing in
the area is also of a very high standards from a number of rock,
beach and pier venues.

Aquastar 33 can take you to some excellent reefs where no
fewer than 35 different species have been recorded. Boats
